Biblical Context
Gad was Jacob’s seventh son, by Zilpah. His tribe was known for strength, bravery, and serving as protectors on the Eastern front.
Warrior Spirit: “Gad, a troop shall overcome him: but he shall overcome at the last.” (Genesis 49:19)
Bravery & Protection: “He chose the best of the land for himself… for there a commander’s portion was reserved.” (Deuteronomy 33:21)
