Asher was Jacob’s eighth son, by Zilpah. His tribe was blessed with abundance, delicacies, and prosperity.
Prosperity & Delight: “Out of Asher his bread shall be fat, and he shall yield royal dainties.” (Genesis 49:20)
Blessing of Favor: “Asher is most blessed of sons; let him be favored by his brothers.” (Deuteronomy 33:24)
